What pricing option is best for me?

This article helps you choose between Outlign’s monthly and yearly pricing options.

Outlign has one simple pricing tier. You get access to all features with no limits or locked plans. The only decision you need to make is how you want to pay: Monthly or Yearly.

Both options give you the exact same product. The difference comes down to flexibility versus savings.

Our pricing, explained simply

  • One plan

  • All features included

  • Unlimited clients and projects

  • Client users are always free

The only thing you are choosing is how much flexibility you want.

Monthly plan (best for flexibility)

Choose Monthly if you:

  • Work solo or as a freelancer

  • Bring collaborators in and out for short periods

  • Want the freedom to change your team size month to month

  • Do not want a long-term commitment

Why it works:

  • You can add or remove collaborators at any time

  • You only pay for active users that month

  • Ideal for short-term projects or changing workloads

Trade-off:

  • No annual discount

  • Slightly higher per-user cost

Yearly plan (best for savings)

Choose Yearly if you:

  • Have a relatively stable team

  • Know you will be using Outlign long-term

  • Want the lowest possible per-user price

  • Are happy committing for the year in exchange for a discount

Why it works:

  • You save around 20 % compared to monthly pricing

  • Great value if your team does not change often

  • Includes everything with no feature restrictions

Important to know:

  • The annual plan applies at the account level

  • Any collaborators you add are placed on the annual plan as well

  • This is what allows us to offer the discount fairly

I am a freelancer. Which should I choose?

This is a common question.

If you regularly add short-term collaborators, the monthly plan is usually the better fit.

If you mostly work solo and only occasionally collaborate, yearly can still make sense, especially if you are comfortable using credits as collaborators come and go.

There is no wrong choice. It really depends on how much flexibility you need.

Why do you not allow mixing Monthly and Yearly users?

Annual plans work because there is a mutual commitment. You receive a discount and we get predictable usage.

Allowing some users to be monthly while the account stays discounted yearly would remove that balance. Rather than adding complex pricing tiers or hidden rules, we have kept pricing simple and transparent.

Still unsure?

If you are on the fence, monthly is the safest place to start. You can upgrade to yearly at any time once you are confident Outlign fits how you work.
